Application procedure

Who can apply?

• The NYAA-Nexus Project Grant is open to all residents of Singapore.
• Applications can be made individually or as a group.

When is the application period?

• There are two application windows every year:
  • 1 January to 30 April
  • 1 June to 31 August
    
    
• Work on the project should start only after funding has been approved.
• The launch date of the project should be at least two months after the submission deadline e.g., projects submitted during the 1 January to 30 April application window should be launched only from 1 July(two months after 30 April).
  
  

How to apply

To apply for the NYAA-Nexus Project Grant, please complete the following:

• Application form (DOC: 28KB)
• Project proposal (please refer to the proposal guidelines (PDF: 80KB) for tips on how to prepare the project proposal)
• Please send the completed application form and project proposal to the address below:

• IMPORTANT: Applications that are incomplete or lack sufficient details will not be processed.
  
  

When will I receive the approved funds?

• Upon approval of your application, you will receive 70% of the approved amount to help you get started on the project.
• The remaining 30% will be disbursed to you after the end of your project, upon successful submission of the project completion report (DOC: 27KB)
• Any unused funds must be returned to NYAA upon completion of the project. All receipts, invoices and other documentary proof of spending must be submitted for verification.
  
  

When do I need to submit the project completion report?

• You are required to submit the project completion report (DOC: 27KB) within two months after the end of the project.
• The remaining 30% will be disbursed to you only after the successful submission of the project completion report.
• IMPORTANT: Failure to submit the project completion report within two months after the end of the project will result in the withdrawal of the remaining 30% of the approved funds.
