 The Bayer Young Environmental Envoy Award gives recognition to young Singaporeans who have actively conducted outreach projects to engage their peers and the community in environmental issues. It also aims to be a platform to engage the youth further in environmental activities, broaden their knowledge on sustainable development and provide them with networking opportunities.
The Award is presented by Bayer (South East Asia). Each year, four to six recipients of the Award are selected to participate in a training programme at Bayer’s Headquarters in Germany.
The NYAA Council is a strong partner of Bayer (South East Asia) in developing and nurturing young environmentalists in Singapore. Since 1996, over 52 outstanding Bayer/NYAA Young Environmentalists have been groomed through the partnership between Bayer, UNEP and the NYAA Singapore.
